Running Shorts have zippers on both side pockets to include a liner allowing to rock these shorts straight commando.  The body material is that of our Athletic Shorts aka Loungers and just as comfortable allowing more sun to cress the thighs; the liner is a very comfortable mesh that isn't overly tight but does the trick.

While some customers wear the same size in their Athletic Shorts, the liner adds a thin layer which might cause you to go up depending on the fit that you prefer.
